Fears

Fears and doubts can attack us all. Those who choose to marry again may feel guilty or confused. Those who feel they have already married their eternal partner can also suffer times of regret and uncertainty. Those who marry again and those who do not, have equal opportunity for true conjugial love in heaven.

We can be tormented by anxiety producing thoughts from hell and fortified by God’s patient reassurance in His Word.

We live in two worlds: the world of our body and the world of our spirit. The real work of marriage takes place in our minds or our spirits where we make choices between right and wrong. Here is where we resist things that threaten or dishonor marriage. Here is where we look for ways to strengthen and support its ideals. In a second marriage or a first, each day is THE day to do the best we can and know the Lord is with us with the intent to lead us to love truly conjugial.
